As a newby, let me say, don't worry, Doug, your posts scare the crap out of me sitting in front of the computer! At the same time, it is good to see how far the envelope can be pushed. It is encouraging to know that I am unlikely to meet the limits of the craft before I meet my own personal limits. As an experienced boater, but not kayaker, I think I have a fair bit of sea sense, having survived lots of stupid situations in other boats. I look forward to learning more, as I survive lots more stupid situations. I know there are going to be some. So keep on posting. There is something there to be learned, if we look at it the right way. With any luck, I can avoid a situation or two. Thanks!
