The homestead on Lake Michigan is up for sale, (sigh!) and I'm moving to
the Roanoke area of Virginia with kayaks tied to the jeep. That's about
five hours from the big water as I see it though there are some inland
lakes (?) nearby to explore. Problem is I used to publish the
newsletter and web site for our local group - RASKA - and knew when and
where there was a kayak 'wetting' to be done. Now, (sob!!!) I'll have
to find other floaters in the middle of Virginia!

Any help?

I used to live in Roanoke. Smith Mt. Lake has 500 miles of shore line and is
an hour or so from town.

What part are you moving to and why??
