Jim, I have second-hand experience with an Atlantis, but have never paddled one myself. It's a relatively long boat, fairly narrow, moves fast and tracks (very?) well on relatively calm waters. But in rough seas with beam or quartering winds, the Atlantis will be difficult to maneuver. Assuming you didn't buy the boat for surfing, I'm sure you'll be happy with in in most conditions.
