If you check the archives, Doug, I think the anecdotal information will confirm the Standard HX350S to be the best submersible radio by consensus. Most of us who have them seem to be very happy with them; mine's in the shop for warranty work, and I'll let you know if I'm still part of the consensus in another couple of weeks. Frankly, it's worth it even if you don't get a particularly good deal on it. 'Course, the way you paddle, may I suggest you store it inside a minicell-padded Pelican drybox, carried inside a 50mm ammo box, with a tether to a self-inflating mylar helium baloon? Just in case.
