I have a Sears X-cargo on loan from my in-laws. Only used it once, but I
loaded it up with stuff I needed to move from Cincinnati to Atlanta, and
it worked fine. I set it on the roof between my Yakima bars. Yes, it feels
flimsy, but it really doesn't need to do much but contain the cargo. Of
course, you would carry PFDs, sleeping bags, and clothing in it, not 5
liter jugs of wine. If you were really worried, you could toss a diamond
hitch over the whole thing.

Of course, Rocket boxes are more aerodynamic and far cooler, not least
because of the clever name.
