I have this setup on my Yukon Expedition and I'm not real keen on the adjustment system. I have also had problems with the cables pulling out of the copper fasteners at the pedal end. Of course, this happened twice at precisely the moment when the rudder was most necessary - heavy winds with a following sea. When I get around to it, I'll get a pair of small cable eyes rather than use the rubber tubes to keep the cables from wearing at the straps. I think metal cable eyes will do a better job at keeping the pulling forces from pulling the cables out of the fasteners. I'll also get a connector that will hold the cable better than the supplied piece. That says nothing about durability, but I think you'd be hard pressed to break the things.
