It's not bad on weekdays and you might even be able to drop in and get into the water but they limit the number of boats, so don't count on it. The park has a website and you can make reservations there. <http://pt-lobos.parks.state.ca.us/> It is, indeed, one of the most beautiful areas of our coast and diving there is out of sight!
