Gosh, Jed, I've been telling everyone that I'm on this list where everyone is
a brainless drone with a death wish! Thanks for setting things straight. ;-)

Perhaps you've noticed, moralizing is the bane of our times. It's easy to run
out of facts, but theory goes on forever because it exceeds our ability to
test it. Ethics (the calculation of best outcomes) is pure theory, seldom
testable, and a convenient refuge for those with few facts and fewer
experiences to discuss.

I too am into Good ol' Natural Selection. I constantly fantasize watching
some kayaker (inept or experienced) drown while I laugh and point and sing
"Naa Naa Na NAA Naa, Nature got ya that time, ya brainless drone with a death
wish!" If we'd all do that, the human species might be perfected in a
generation. Kayakers might be extinct, but the species would soar.

Hope you know this is tongue-in-cheek.

Rick
