You might be a sea kayaker if you would rather drown than be rescued by a jet
skier!

You might be a sea kayaker if you have to think twice before responding to a
jet skier's call for help!

You might be a sea kayaker if you smile when you see a jet skier heading
straight for a boiler rock that is submerged at the moment!

You might be a sea kayaker if you would rather roll in that foamy brown stuff
than smell the exhaust fumes of a jet ski!

You might be a sea kayaker if you cringe when someone you happen to know
tells you he bought a jet ski!

You might be a sea kayaker if you laugh when that someone thinks he has
something in common with you because he bought that jet ski!

Anybody have any more?

....Yeah, there's that (true) story about the jet skier who cheerfully
agreed to carry a sea kayaker, who thought she was having a heart attack,
to a waiting paramedic on shore. She'll never forget that guy, and neither
will I.

.....while I appreciate the humor of ragging on jetskiiers
as a general principle, (don't they all seem to be engaged in the middle
of a music video, of which they are the *star*?)....BobVolin's point is
well taken.
......in general, generalizations are at best flawed
expressions of the human condition..... (or did I just violate my own
principle?_)
