We have no officiers. We produce a newsletter that includes articles focused on general water safety, cold water precautions, gear, weather, health, etc. Each newsletter also carries the safety philosophy of the group (which is basically we are each in control of ourselves-noone will be forced from shore). Also in the newsletter we encourage paddlers to pursue skill development, whether formally or informally. For formal instruction, we list various sources (private companies, county courses, etc.). Informally, our group offers multiple sessions over the course of warm weather for folks to get together and work on their skills. Calendar items are listed by fellow "subscribers" (subscribers of the newsletter).
