Gabriel Romeu---please take a bow. I have been going to rolling sessions with Gabriel and everytime he wheels out his kayak storage chariot (a much better word than cart) I marvel at the ingeniousness behind the whole thing and the simple execution. Instead of having to lift individual kayaks off a storage rack in the garage and heft out to your car, you roll several that are resting nicely in what look like hammocks on the chariot. The setup works well for plastic boats especially since there is no possible indenting of the hull as you might get on storage racks even wide surfaced ones. And the bottom of the chariot is an open bin in which to toss PFDs sprayskirts, anything, i.e. boats and gear come out to your car in one easy push or pull of the chariot. Right now, Gabriel has an extra kayak on the lower part of the chariot that gets in the way of the box but I think this is temporary. The chariot works best for storing two kayaks since this gives you a nice size and height for easy lifting up to your car roof while having free access to the open bin below at the base of the chariot.
