>One of my favorite *cheap* h2o containers is the 2 or 3 liter plastic POP bottles. In Oregon they cost exactly $.05 each <deposit> and last for many trips. When you are outfitting a trip for a dozen folks you need a lot of h2o! What I also like are some of the wide-mouthed liter or 20 oz. soda bottles. They are good for storing things like rice, and it will stay dry. I also like the wine bladders from those 5 liter boxes. It's easy to remove the valve for cleaning. That mylar is very strong. I have also shaped it around things and frozen the water within to keep things cold. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - All postings copyright the author and not to be reproduced outside PaddleWise without author's permission Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************Received on Wed Mar 08 2000 - 21:38:48 PST
