Have the boat completely wrapped in Bubble wrap and call Yellow Freight for a quote. Have the seller drop it at the terminal and pick it up at the terminal..much cheaper. Where in Florida? I might be able to help. cu -----Original Message----- From: owner-paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net [mailto:owner-paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net]On Behalf Of BearWalk99_at_aol.com Sent: Monday, March 13, 2000 10:08 PM To: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subject: [Paddlewise] shipping sea kayaks Hi ya'll-- i have seen a lot of posts in rec.boats paddle , about shipping of kayaks et al, and as it was -i forgot to save the articles--I found a used kayak that i want up in Wisconsin, and I live in Florida-- anyone have any ideas on shipping it with out it costing a bloody fortune?
