I am planning to build a skin on frame greenland styled boat in the near future. I am a reasonably accomplished woodworker, so I have no trepidation there. However, I am a little concerned with my sewing ability. Are there any tips or tricks that anyone knows for the skinning operation? Also, for those of you who paddle one regularly, how is the skin maintained and repaired? Direction to any sources would be greatly appreciated.
