Dear Kayakers!!,

(Pardon if this is a repeat, this is our last email!)

Our beautiful red Seaward Quest kayak was just stolen from a dock on Corte
Madera Creek, Marin, CA and we fear that it involves a professional kayak
thief or thieves, as there has been increased kayak theft activity in our
area in the past 2 weeks. (We have posted on the Mariners Kayaks board,
thanks for all the tips!)

There are rumors of a certain individual who might be active taking boats in
the Marin, CA area. This is only rumor at the moment, but we are concerned
for other fellow kayakers' boats out there. The local Police is
investigating the situation.

We thought you might keep this post in mind in case you saw this type of
kayak and any activity relating the sale of questionable origin boats. It
would be great if we could stop a majority of thefts by nabbing
professionals.

If you live in coastal California areas, I would DEFINITELY post this info
to your communities to alert them.

Thank you!

Barbara.
