Any Paddlewisers paddling a skeg-equipped Seaward Endeavor? Haven't ever seen one and would be interested in any feedback/assessments. Thanks! A friend of mine is a Seaward dealer so I've had a chance to paddle several of their kayaks. I've paddled his Endeavor (one of his personal boats) several times but havent really played with the skeg (now that I think about it, I'm not sure that his has one). Initial stability is on the low end but it has good secondary. The Endeavor tracks really well and has good speed. It carves really nice turns. For some reason I've never felt really comfortable in it but that just be that my body shape doesn't match up will with the size of the cockpit. The cockpit combing seems to hit me in a weird spot when I'm laying back for a sculling brace. I haven't had it out in really rough conditions so I can't really evaluate how it'll handle them. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - All postings copyright the author and not to be reproduced outside PaddleWise without author's permission Submissions: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subscriptions: paddlewise-request_at_lists.intelenet.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************
