I will help Joan out of trouble ... The Atlantic Kayak Tours Symposium will be held on July 28, 29 and 30 in Peekskill, New York. Peekskill is on the Hudson River about 35 miles north of New York City. The web site for the symposium is members.aol.com/kayaksymposium and AKT's website is members.aol.com/kayaktours. As Joan mentioned in her previous post, this symposium is hands on, geared to doing not just watching. Check out information on AKT's fleet on their web site. In the interest of fair disclosure, Joan and I paddle extensively with AKT and are assisting with the symposium (as volunteers).
