Sea Kayaker Magazine (www.seakayakermag.com) had a very good review of the Palm in a recent issue a few months ago. It included my favorite Palm application, which is Tide Tool. This program is as good an example of the wondrous benefits of the the Gnu Public License (GPL) as you'll find anywhere this side of Linux. Tide Tool is great for the spur of the moment decision of whether to go paddling this weekend, especially when that decision requires currents to be above or below a certain level.
