My impressions of the Apostle after a brief spin:
I paddled one for part of a day surfing with a short cruise recently.
It turned easily on edge, and surfed well in 1 metre waves, with no undue
broaching. It doesn't track as well as my own boat, and needs the rudder
down to stop a little wallowing.
I didn't like the large cockpit, and found my knee slipping out from under
the deck and pushing the spray cover when trying to lean/edge. This would be
curable by fitting braces or foam etc.
The rudder blade is weak, and bent sideways while in the up position, in
surf.
All in all, not a bad boat.
Regards, PT.
