I received a newspaper cutting with a photo of Chris Duff in Nelson, cutting dated 6 April. He was in Marahau 2 April, a day's paddle (4-5 hours) away and no surf. With the good weather we've been having he should have finished the trip a few days ago. A good chance he'll be talking at the forum at Easter, then we might head up that way for a few days ourselves - easy paddling, golden beaches, clear blue water, sun always shines....... Alex . .
