IMHO, some of the best posts on paddlewise come from designers with commercial interests, Broze and Winters being the best examples. These professionals have thought more deeply about many paddling issues than many of the rest of us. Of course they are opinionated and favor their own designs. So what. Everyone knows which boats they produce. If they want to argue in favor of their own designs, more power to them. I say that the rest of us should give three cheers to Matt and John.
