G'Day,

Can anyone tell me if its worth taking a Klepper to Easter Island and/or 
Tahiti for sea kayaking for a few days in November? I've heard that there 
are not many viable beaches for landing in Easter Island?

If you want to read more about kayaking in Easter Island, check out the
most recent issue of Sea Kayaker magazine.  There is a several page article
about paddling there.  It looks facinating.

There was also an article in the Fall 1994 issue.  The article was by
Michael Powers and was called "Kayaking the Navel of the World."  I enjoyed
reading it, but it doesn't have much "practical" information, as I recall.
