Can anyone tell me about the upcoming Tybee Island Races?  Also, since I
will be coming from out of town, can anyone recommended camping or lodging? 
Are there other paddlewisers participating?

  For those of us who are geographically challenged, but quite curious,
where is Tybee Island?

Tybee Island is in Georgia - near Savannah

I'm actually more interested in Alaska!  How's the paddling now?
