I picked up some latex foam samples made by Rubbatex (VA) at a dive show a few years ago and in my opinoion they are the BEST! It's the same foam used in better PFDs and is available in various densities. It is easy to get a good grip on the boat and the foam is much more comfortable then minicell. I have glued the 3M self adhesive deck stuff on the pads and it works extremely well. I've also used it, sandwiched with minicell and wet suit neoprene for a seat. cya -----Original Message----- From: owner-paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net [mailto:owner-paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net]On Behalf Of Arthur Hebert Sent: Monday, May 15, 2000 5:37 PM To: paddlewise_at_lists.intelenet.net Subject: [Paddlewise] foam vs neoprene padding What would be the advantages or disadvantages of using neoprene in lieu of mini cell foam for knee/ thigh padding?
