Here's one:

I wrap a kids size bike innertube (don't remember the exact size) around
the coaming, then tuck the sea sock under.  My Palm spraydeck fits snug
enough against the innertube to limit water entry to a trickle.  And
that would be eliminated if F-Craft would make their sea socks with a
flat lycra/raw neoprene rand around the top where it fits over the
coaming.
The two reasons I'm not currently using the innertube are #1) I lost it
(temporarily, I hope), and #2) It's very tight and tough to put on /
remove as well as twist so it lies flat, therefore somewhat overkill
unless storm paddling or extra long rolling sessions.
