>>>I am trying to put together a four day itinerary of camping and
kayaking
in and near Fundy Park, New Brunswick, Canada, starting May 20. Are
there any good travel or guide books that cover the area? In
particular, I don't want to get stranded/drowned as a consequence of the

50 ft. tides.>>>

I attended a slide show here in Victoria last week, put on by Scott
Cunningham who was out here on the west coast to teach and certify for a
CRCA course. He is from Nova Scotia's west coast. His slides were truly
outstanding examples of east coast paddling, including the Bay of Fundy.
Such incredible geological formations. His Coastal Tours company is
listed in the back of SK magazine, and he has a book out about paddling
the east coast. Have fun on your trip, Ken, and remember -- what looks
like good conditions can be drastically different in another hour on
some of the headlands and/or other points of congestion once the tide
gets moving.
