Since I always find it a treat when folks make photos of themselves available, enabling us to connect a face with the name, I sweet-typed Gabriel into posting a couple of photos on his site from the NJ Paddlesport show this past March (actually, he created a page/site for our group - requiring a significant amount of effort that I would like to acknowledge him for - especially the photo above my "Editor" title - very appropriate, as anyone in my circle will attest). Take a look. <<http://members.xoom.com/gabrielR/ask/>> My sister will be arriving tomorrow from California and has put me on **total** kayaking restriction during her visit (through 5/20). It wouldn't be so bad if we were to be "touring" inland, but no, she wants to see coastal Conneticut and RI. If only I could divert her down to the waters' edge, maybe I could at least cop-a-feel of the cool ocean water. No, she knows me to well. She won't let me near the blue stuff. My sympathies, Deb. You should hae doen the twelve -step, Paddlers Anonymous, sooner, so you could cheerfully face the water and say, "My name is Debbie and I'm a Paddler," and then walk away, without even dipping a toe. You'll be back in time for the PW get-together over Memorial Day weekend. Are you coming?
