This was posted to a Scouting Listserv. Can anyone help him? I've been asked to help lead a Venturing group on a sea kayaking voyage in Barkley Sound, on Vancouver Island, BC. I've never been there before, and the literature is conflicting about the severity of exposure that we will face crossing Loudoun Channel from the put in at Toquart Bay to our crusing area in the Broken Group Islands. Does anybody have any "I've been there" knowledge?
