The eTrex GPS does not come with an advanced manual. For those that have this GPS, are you able to get a "bearing" to display on the screen in a GOTO mode? Can the LAT/LON be displayed on one of the four initial screens, or does it require going deeper within the screens? I downloaded the new owners manual and found that it really isn't as good as the old advanced manual. I still have my hard copy of the advanced manual, but lost the PDF file. If anyone still has the PDF file for the advanced manual there are probably a couple people who would really like a copy. On the pointer page if you hit the up or down keys you will scroll through the options at the bottom of the screen. Your lat/lon, bearing, heading, speed, distance, sunrise, sunset, and elevation (useless) are all there. For instance, the main boat ramp for Massabesic Lake is on a bearing of 285 magnetic from my back yard.
