The Tsunami Rangers have a sea condition rating system too. Their shtick is to take it to the max without going over it. Calculator not included :-) Best guidelines come from your gut instinct, but you have to be willing to listen to yourself. Many of us don't, unfortunately, they stop listening just about the same time they are finally saying something useful :-).
