[Paddlewise] Washington Kayak Shop was 'too many books'

G'Day Sandy & Paddlewise,

Glad you liked the books Sandy. I think your post might have stimulated some 
interest in Paul Caffyn's Australian Odyssey! I'm told some of his other 
journeys make even better reading (if that were possible). Hope you get a 
chance to read the others - I'll look out for them.

Actually I'm in the USA in the next two weeks or so, but the closest I get 
to Florida is Washington - Darn!!! However, seem to remember a kayak rental 
shop next to a famous canoe club in Washington by the Potomac. The club was 
once frequented by President Roosevelt. Last time I was in Washington it was 
winter and the shop wasn't renting boats - does anyone know if its open at 
the moment?
