[Paddlewise] Kayaking in Breckenridge, Colorado, USA?

Any opportunities to kayak near Breckenridge, Colorado? My wife and I will
be attending a family reunion there the week of July 9-16. The Mapquest
map shows a couple of lakes, especially a good-sized one about 5 miles
north of Breckenridge. If I can't find "sea" kayaking, I might take some
whitewater lessons, just to be out on the water and learning something
new.

Any suggestions on boat rentals or places to go?

Both my wife and I are very inexperienced. I've demoed a few boats and
taken a couple of classes in Santa Cruz, CA, when I visited my sister
there. My wife and I both took a two-hour pool lesson in rolling a sea
kayak, which was fun but didn't make us proficient in any way. This is her
only kayaking experience. We're both pretty good at flat-water canoeing.
