I have noticed small gelcoat cracks [crazing] on several British-made boats but these were mostly near the glassed-in, rigid bulkheads and I assumed that they were related to stress in these areas rather than impact. Perhaps the rigidity of the Brit hulls contribute to stress crazing though I would leave that hypothesis to the completly impartial, unbiased, and unopinionated eye of Matt Broze.
