I didn't know they played rugby in Canada I thought is was all ice hockey.

I once had a funny incident in Ottawa. I was installing a computer system at
the Australian High Commission there in Early Feb a couple of years ago and
went for a walk around the city which I love doing in new places. I saw
someone come out of a Hall with a blue broom in their hand. The Cleaner so I
thought. Then several more came out and I started to wonder how many
cleaners it takes to clean a small hall and noted they all had the same
colour broom (must have been on special). Then even more came out and I
thought It must be a cleaners convention.

It wasn't until I got back to the hotel and was watching television that I
found out there is a game involving the use of a broom.

Loved Ottawa though even in February I thought it was a pretty city. My
orginal trip plan included a week in Vancouver which is a place I have
always wanted to go to. But just after I had planned the trip Australia went
and closed its consulate there. I was really disappointed as I had arranged
the weekend off and was looking up Sea Kayaking firms to organise a trip.
Maybe one day I'll get there
