[Paddlewise] The "Tyne" folding kayak - Restore or Preserve???

G'Day Paul, Bill and Ralph,
                              And thanks very much for all the feedback on 
the Tyne folding kayak. My Brother in law and I were very glad to learn the 
background of this boat. Actually its in pretty good condition. The skin and 
canvas are solid except for two small rat holes, which a couple of patches 
would fix. I suspect we could easily bleach and dye the canvas close to its 
original color to remove the stains - my sister illustrates books and 
probably knows about this stuff. The two struts could be made up in a small 
workshop. So although I said  I wouldn't go to sea in it I'ld be quite happy 
to go out on Sydney Harbour!!!
