Just copied this off CLC's site:

"Though we have made both North Bays a bit larger than traditional
Greenland boats (to accommodate the "southern physique"), they are
low-volume boats and larger paddlers may not fit. The standard cockpit is
quite small at 24 inches long and 15 ½ inches wide (a larger
Chesapeake-style cockpit is a kit option at no extra cost)."

24 inches might be a bit tight for you, but the Chesapeake cockpit option
will fit your needs. I have a Chesapeake 18, and I can put 5 gallons of
water infront of my feet with my legs extended. Lots of room.
