Just copied this off CLC's site: "Though we have made both North Bays a bit larger than traditional Greenland boats (to accommodate the "southern physique"), they are low-volume boats and larger paddlers may not fit. The standard cockpit is quite small at 24 inches long and 15 ½ inches wide (a larger Chesapeake-style cockpit is a kit option at no extra cost)." 24 inches might be a bit tight for you, but the Chesapeake cockpit option will fit your needs.
