[Paddlewise] Alligator Etiquette

I seem to be sharing more of the same space than I want to with them.

  Questions:
1.  What time of year do these guys nest?  I do not want to get between a mother and her babies   
2.  When encountering one that is not charging, how do you not encourage a charge                                                                               3.  When one is charging,  how do you stay alive?
