    OK, go easy here. Bills just showing his years of experience. Back in the 
olden days, many people called nylon kernmantle lines "Prussik cord" because 
that's what they were used for. After Christ was born, we started calling the 
stuff by it's proper name "Perlon" or "Spectra" depending on the particular 
material. Some time in 1990's, for some strange reason it started to be known 
as "Accessory cord" or "Static line".

And that's the truth!
