[Paddlewise] Back home

Thanks to everybody who responded to my plans to go North to Maine several
weeks ago. I got as far as Williamsburg, VA, and received word that I had some
business problems that required my immediate return to Fort Lauderdale. I was
disappointed but when I reminded myself that it was this business that allowed
me NOT to have a real job, I made the best of it. I turned East to the NC
Outer Banks, where I camped out at the Nat'l Park. It was very nice but If I
return I would not go in the height of the summer season. Yes, they still have
the wild pony's, but had been forced to fence them off due to tourists and
their vehicles. I'll try for Maine again in the spring.
