I had this paddle for a number of years. It was discontinued by Werner
because, they told me, there was little interest. The paddle came only in
lengths greater than 8 feet and up to 9 feet, if I remember correctly. The
blades were narrow and long similar to a Greenland, but they were modern
fiberglass blades that you could not grip like a wood Greenland. It was
therefore not possible to cut them shorter because that would force you to
grip it at the blade. The looms were round. I enjoyed the paddle and am
now sorry I sold it.
