I goofed up guys n' gals. Kevin asked me privately if I had some info on
a PW post about a recent incident where some kayakers died. I sent an
e-mail 'bout this to the list in error, rather than to an individual I
was seeking permission information from. Very poor netiquette, but
totally in error due to a slip of the finger. I'm so very cautious about
the privacy issue parameters here on PW, and not just because of recent
events (though I can totally see why people got so worked up about the
issue - I'd be damn mad if someone paraphrased some of my adventurous
stuff out of context, or the Storm Island stuff -- to some other venue;
I can't even imagine how upset I would be).

As it turns out, I must have also trashed in error the "saved post" on
what I think Kevin would like to see - namely the Door County Deaths, I
believe. Is this the one Rick was referring to, today, in is post about
group paddling and gender issues? I'm so confused :-) If anyone has some
info saved from last weeks PW posts about the unfortunate paddlers,
could they please forward it to Kevin.

In the mean time, I'll try and get my head back in gear - it _should_ be
working, as I've been down at the windy ocean side every night this week
getting fresh air!
