Selling my Seguin, a 17 ft 10 inch X 22 inch medium volume S&G sea kayak built 1999. Keyhole cockpit same dimensions as on VCP and NDK sea kayaks. Fully outfitted - deck lines, bow and stern grab loops, watertight fore and aft bulkheads, adjustable Yakima footbraces, VCP-style 10 inch hatches with KajakSport hatch covers (100% waterproof during almost two seasons of intermittent use)) , compass mounting, cockpit foam outfitting, foam-padded knee braces. Retractable skeg (Rob Bryan design). Carved foam seat. Can sell compass with boat if desired. This is a very fast boat which tracks beautifully. It is almost wind-neutral, easily controllable with a minor edge, up to winds of 20 kts or so. For a boat of its length, it is easily maneuverable and rolls fairly easily. It holds enough gear for at least a week or so of solo camping, more if one packs carefully. Price $900 without compass, OBO above that figure. Boat can be seen and paddled in central NY area. Reason for selling: I want to build another boat, and don't have storage room!
