Rob, I seem to have stopped paying attention to Impex recently, but I assume you are referring to the line of Formula kayaks that Impex imports (ie http://www.impexkayak.com/formulak/index.html). I would hazard a guess that these kayaks are from across the Atlantic, since Impex also imports Pyrahna, and since the lines look distinctively British. They seem like nice boats and I would like to see how they handle. Some of the designs have high sterns and I bet they use skegs. It seems there is a form to fill out which will send a question to Impex, so perhaps you could find the correct answer to your questions there (http://www.impexkayak.com/formulak/index.html). I also noticed that Mariner Kayaks is listed as an importer, which means they can't handle too much worse than a Mariner. ;-) At 07:11 PM 8/8/00 -0700, Rob Cookson wrote: >Hi All, > >Does anyone know who is designing the Impex line of boats and where they are >being manufactured? > >Thanks. > >-- >Rob Cookson >"I like a little rebellion now and then.
