I haven't been on one, and don't have any desire to.  But I have a client
who is a former several-times world champion speedboat racer, in the
fastest, largest class (looks kinda like an overgrown Cigarette).  Although
he teases me about "running over blow-boaters", he's actually a great guy,
very thoughtful and generous, who among many other things gives lots of
money to good causes.  Of course, professional racers are perhaps of a
different class.  But I do think of my client now and then when I'm tempted
to make judgments about people based solely on the type of boat they pilot
(which is often).
