[Paddlewise] polar bear test

on a earlier post you tslked about a polar bear, is Roberts kayak polar


bear proof?  maybe you ought to find out





Most of us here figure that this polar bear is a young male looking for
love.....so I decided to put Robert's boat through a unique test.....


I repainted the boat white ( I will redo the silver effect of duct tape
later),  and added cotton balls for that real polar bear look. Then I hauled
it down to the beach and sprayed it with "L'amore de Artic Nights" perfume and
waited.


It didn't take long and the bear showed up....young, near sighted and in the
mood for love.


I will not go into details , there may be children reading, but suffice it to
say that the bear gave the boat a through work out and left happy.


The boat handled the situation quite well although admittedly it will never be
the same.
