These "odor resistant" fabrics have been around for years and have a "anti-microbacterial" treatments. Last months issue of Backpacker had a review of wicking T-shirts, including their resistance to odors after spending a week hiking in the same shirt! This is an important trait to look for since the material wicks perspiration right to the outer surface for the whole world to smell! Your paddling group may turn on you and attempt to capsize your boat if you stink enough to need a bath!
