What I'm looking for next is a good river runner (up to III- on the I-VI scale) that I can self support in. Looking at Prijon I also see: Calabria (14' 5") http://www.wildnet.com/calabria.htm Beluga (13' 9") http://www.wildnet.com/beluga.htm - the beluga intruiges me. The hull design is modeled after some of thier racing craft. Would this preclude it from being a river runner though? It would most likely be made of polyethylene as rocks and fibreglass don't mix well 8) Any ideas? Yes, I've thought about the Mariner Coaster which has the *perfect* design for this sort of thing. They don't make the Coaster in plastic though 8( #hint, hint# ---------------------------------------------------------------------- snark_at_tulgey.org aka Glen Acord http://www.tulgey.org/~snark if ($snark eq "boojum") {vanish("softly","suddenly")} *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - All postings copyright the author and not to be reproduced/forwarded outside PaddleWise without author's permission Submissions: PaddleWise_at_PaddleWise.net Subscriptions: PaddleWise-request_at_PaddleWise.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************Received on Fri Aug 11 2000 - 14:40:37 PDT
