Its almost impossible to get any sort of schedule of events until the last minute. along with poor information and signage at the event. I'm mentioned it to the volunteers working there, they agree, its a recurring complaint. You'd think after doing this for almost 20 years TAPS would get their act together, but it still seems to be run with really poor organization. On the other side, I realize how fluid speaker programs and scheduling is going into an event, there are always last minute changes. So fine, I accept that, give me a draft of the schedule with lots of disclaimers that it may be subject to change. It should still give me a feel for what is planned for each day so that if I can only afford (time or money) to attend one or two days, I can pick the best time for my needs and intersts to attend. dave *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - All postings copyright the author and not to be reproduced/forwarded outside PaddleWise without author's permission Submissions: PaddleWise_at_PaddleWise.net Subscriptions: PaddleWise-request_at_PaddleWise.net Website: http://www.paddlewise.net/ ***************************************************************************Received on Mon Aug 14 2000 - 08:08:05 PDT
