It's basically two pieces of square molded aluminum hinged together at one end with two long metal handles with wood ends at the other. The aluminum pieces are coated on the inside with teflon. We got a couple of pieces of bread and made a ham and cheese sandwich that we put in the "pie" maker. Close it up with a little clip on the end and stick it in the coals. Turn it over after a couple of minutes and you've got a toasted ham and cheese sandwich. I bought one on the way home at an outdoor shop.
