<SNIP> >Now, all I have to do is figure out how to get that poor ______(fill in >blank) his anchor back. Tina, that's an easy one! Just tie off the rope and chain to something strong like a tree trunk (so that you don't lose it while waiting, of course)... wait for the boater to buzz by at full throttle... then just kindly toss the anchor into the back of his boat with a polite smile and a hand wave. :-) My in-laws spent the weekend on their boat at "Harbor Fest" one year. My father-in-law "told" (not asked) my poor mother-in-law to toss the anchor over, which she promptly did. Now... whose fault do you think "he" thought it was when anchor, chain, and rope went overboard and out of sight, and he realized he had never re-tied the anchor rope to the boat????? HER's, of course.... couldn't have happened to a nicer guy, but I hated to see poor "mom" get verbal abuse for his mistake. I almost peed my pants trying not to laugh out loud!!!!!!!
